A passport book is strongly recommended for every sailing. For most closed-loop cruises from a U.S. port you can sail with a birth certificate + government ID, but a passport is the safest option if anything goes wrong in port.

Most Royal Caribbean bookings require a deposit, and many promotional fares use a non-refundable deposit. Before you book, I'll explain exactly what your deposit terms are, when final payment is due, and what penalties apply if you need to cancel. Travel protection is also available and can help protect your investment if unexpected situations arise.

How do payments work?

A refundable deposit holds your stateroom, then payments can be made until the final payment is due ~90 days before sailing. No interest, no credit check.

There are other options available if you qualify and are okay with a soft credit check. Pay for your cruise up front using this option and then pay the credit company back using their terms. Ask for more details.
